For all you jazz heads out there who don't mind a lil' groove, a lil' funk, you must check out the Verve Remixed series. These are compilation albums of classic jazz artists remixed by contemporary world-renowned DJs and musicians.

This song, "Come Dance With Me" by Shirley Horn, is such a fun track. To be honest, I heard it for the first time while I was taking a shower. (Thank you, roomie, for introducing me to the Verve.) I immediately started dancing in the shower. Yes, I said it...dancing in the shower...and you know it, my clumsy ass almost fell. Go ahead...I know you're picturing it in your head. Get the giggles out of the way, maniacs.

So as I was saying, this song is too groovy, you cannot help but sway back and forth, tap your feet, bob your head and bounce those shoulders. So please, check it out.
